How to Play

The Bantumi board consists of 14 pits. Each player controls the 6 pits on their side of the board and their scoring pit (the mancala) on their right.

The objective of the game is to collect more beans or seeds in your mancala than your opponent. The game ends when one player has no more seeds in any of their 6 pits.

Rules:

• On your turn, choose one of your 6 pits. All the seeds from that pit are picked up and distributed one by one, counter-clockwise, into the subsequent pits.
• If the last seed falls into your mancala, you get another turn!
• If the last seed falls into an empty pit on your side, you capture that seed and any seeds in the opponent's pit directly opposite it, placing them all into your mancala.
